A 17-year-old boy is missing after entering the water at High Dam Tarn, in the Lake District, police have said.
Police responded to a call at 12:32pm on Tuesday, April 7, following reports a person was having difficulty in the water at High Dam Tarn.

A multi-agency rescue operation was launched that included teams from Cumbria Constabulary, Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service, North West Ambulance Service, HM Coastguard and local Mountain Rescue Teams.
Police have said a 17-year-old boy is still missing having entered the water.
A number of teams remain on scene and are continuing shoreline, surface and sub-surface searches at this time, police confirmed.
