A closure notice has been issued for a section of the footpath after a section of St Bees Head collapsed.

Whitehaven Coastguard put in a temporary closure after being informed by a member of the public that the path had collapsed.

The closure has now been put in place by Cumberland Council while further investigation and plans are put in place.
