Cumbria Police has confirmed a body has been found in the investigation for a missing Haverigg prisoner.

On January 8, this year, John Hosker, 43, failed to return to prison after being temporarily released for an approved work placement.

Hosker was jailed for eight years in 2019 for committing a child sex offence.
