Ella Lloyd will carry out a second year in the F1 Academy competition with Rodin Motorsport and the McLaren Formula 1 Team entry,.
Approaching the F1 Academy 2025 season finale in Las Vegas, Lloyd currently stands P3 in the driver standings.
Celebrating five podium finishes and the Brit’s first F1 Academy win in Jeddah, Lloyd has impressed the grid throughout her rookie season.

Upon announcing her second year drive, Ella Lloyd said: “I’m super excited to be continuing my journey in papaya with Rodin motorsport and building on what we have achieved this season together.”
Alongside her 2025 campaign with the team in F1 Academy, Lloyd also competed in British F4 with Rodin Motorsport.
Making a podium appearance in Zandvoort and finishing the season second in the Challenge Cup.
Sporting Director, Benn Huntingford commented: “It’s fantastic to continue working with Ella for her second year in F1 Academy.
“She’s shown great development this season as part of the McLaren programme and with that experience, we’re confident we can take another step forward to fight at the front in 2026.”
Ella Stevens is the latest driver to join the McLaren Driver Development Programme and will race in the F1 Academy McLaren Oxagon operated by Rodin Motorsport as part of their 2026 season lineup.

On joining the team, Ella Stevens said,
“Moving from karts to F1 Academy is a big step up for me, but I’m ready to give it everything.
“Setting the fastest lap at the Navarra Rookie test, despite my limited experience, gives me confidence heading into my first year in single-seaters.”
Marking her debut in single seaters, the Brit is set to join the team after excelling in her karting career.
Taking the title of Double English KZ2 Champion and British BireIART Cadet Champion. Her most recent achievement, classifying second overall in the 2025 British KZ2 Karting Championship.

Earlier this year, Stevens participated in the inaugural F1 Academy Rookie Test at the Circuito de Navarra in Spain.
Topping the overall timesheets, she made an impressive first appearance on track, establishing herself as one to watch amongst the rookie grid.
