A crash on the M6, in Cumbria, has caused a road closure and delays for drivers.
Shortly after 11:30am, on Wednesday, November 12, police responded to reports of an incident on the M6 northbound.
Emergency services are currently in attendance after a vehicle crashed into the central reservation between junctions 42 and 43.
The northbound is currently closed to all traffic and the southbound was closed temporarily to allow the air ambulance to attend – but reopened at 1:30pm.
A spokesperson for Cumbria Police said: “People are asked to avoid the area whilst emergency services continue to work at the scene.”
