Carlisle United Ladies picked up their first win of the Lancashire Women’s League season as Penrith AFC and Whitehaven AFC couldn’t be separated as they shared the spoils with a draw.

Premier Division

Accrington Stanley faced off against Carlisle United in a thrilling encounter that ended 2-3 to the Cumbrian’s.

Chelsea Norris, Emma Blenkinship and Phoebe Langan were on target as Carlisle goalkeeper Kate Stainton was one of the heroines of the day with a penalty save in the final minutes of the game helping secure The Blues their first three points of the season.
