Keswick Fire Station has said farewell as an officer hangs up his helmet after 37 years of service.

In the end of an era at Keswick fire Craig Phillips has hung up his helmet after 37 years of ‘unwavering commitment and service to his local community.’

A spokesperson said: “Thank you Craig for 37 years of dedicated and professional service to protect lives and property in Cumbria, and best of luck for the future.”
