Egremont Rangers Rugby League Club have announced Project 125 with hopes of a ‘truly transformative’ development that is not just for the club.
Having been celebrating their 125 year anniversary the club are looking ahead to the next 125 years with the announcement of a state-of-the-art clubhouse and adjacent sporting facility.

Project 125 is the clubs bold vision to transform Egremont Rangers and support the wider community.
At the very heart of this project is the creation of a state-of-the-art clubhouse and adjacent sporting facility, designed not just for rugby league, but for everyone.
Chairman, Mark Chorley said: “As Chairman of Egremont Rangers, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt thanks and full support for the incredible work being done through Project 125.
“Reaching this stage has taken immense dedication, planning, and belief. On behalf of the entire club, I’d like to extend my deepest thanks to the Project 125 team — Chloe Pascoe, John Wells, Charlie Wells, and David Wright, for their tireless efforts, passion, and commitment in bringing this vision to life.
“Their work has already laid the foundations for what we hope will become a truly transformative development, not just for rugby league, but for the whole of Egremont and the wider sporting community.
“We’re proud of where we’ve come from and even more excited about where we’re going.
“Thank you all for your continued support.”
Project 125 will look to create a modern, safe, and fully integrated facility that will provide space for community events and corporate meetings while introducing diverse revenue streams for long-term sustainability.

It will also look to enhance the experience for players at all levels while supporting the growing girls’ section and opening pathways to expand into disability sports and inclusive programmes.
The club have submitted a pre-planning application, with hopes of full approval by Spring 2026 and have announced an Open Day on Saturday, October 25.

This is a chance for the local community and sports clubs to come together, view the plans, ask questions, and see what the future holds for Egremont sport.
The public can view the plans at Egremont Rangers Clubhouse on Saturday, October 25, between 12pm – 2pm.
