Full Circle Scholarship applications open for St Bees School

The prestigious Full Circle Scholarship is open for applications for St Bees school.

This is the most significant award in the school’s calendar and one of the most sought-after opportunities for young learners across the region.

Headmaster Laurence Gribble, himself a former student of the school, explained:
“The Full Circle Scholarship is at the heart of our mission here at St Bees.

“It reflects our commitment to nurturing young people of integrity and ambition – students who will one day make a difference in their communities and in the wider world.

“Isaac’s success last year shows the calibre of children we are fortunate to meet through this process, and we cannot wait to see who will join us as our next scholar.”

This annual scholarship provides a 30 percent remission of school fees for one outstanding student entering Year 7, recognising a child of exceptional character and promise.

Each year, the award honours a student who not only demonstrates academic talent, but who also embodies the values that St Bees holds dear: curiosity, empathy, leadership, and service.

This year’s recipient, Isaac, set an extraordinary example. During his interview, Isaac impressed the panel with his quiet confidence, his thoughtful and studious nature, and his clear passion for supporting others.

His commitment to charity work and his strong sense of empathy left no doubt that he would thrive as part of the St Bees community.

Isaac’s achievement is a reminder that the Full Circle Scholarship is about more than grades alone, it is about the whole person, and the contribution they will make both within and beyond the school.

The successful 2026 scholar will join a school renowned for its Fusion Curriculum, blending Eastern and Western educational traditions, and preparing students not only for academic success but also for life in an interconnected world.

With small class sizes, a wide array of co-curricular opportunities, and a truly international outlook, St Bees provides an environment where young people are supported to achieve their very best.

Applications for the 2026 award are now open and must be submitted by Friday, October 31, 2025.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for interview shortly afterwards.
