Cumbrian emergency services attended a house fire in Carlisle

Cumbria Fire and Rescue firefighters were called out to a house fire in Carlisle.

The call came in at 7.34am on Monday, September 22, that there was a fire at a house on Denton Street, Carlisle.

Fire engines from Carlisle, Brampton and Longtown attended the fire and crews worked diligently using two hose reels, an external jet and a 12-metre ladder to successfully extinguish the fire.

The Crews were in attendance for just over an hour.

Cumbria Police have warned motorists that there maybe road closures in place.
