Pride by the Harbourside 2025: What you need to know as the Whitehaven festival returns

Pride by the Harbourside is returning to Whitehaven for 2025 and we have all you need to know about the free festival – from the line-up, times, tickets, parking and even the weather.

On Saturday, August 16, Proud and Diverse Cumbria will once again take over the town’s harbourside for the third annual Pride by the Harbourside, bringing a full day of music, stalls, food and family fun.

Pride by the Harbourside 2025 line-up and times:

Following the success of previous years, the event kicks off at midday with traders and entertainers lining the harbourside to celebrate Pride.

The line-up includes:

Russell Small (Phats & Small, The Freemasons) – special Freemasons set

Katherine Ellis – powerhouse dance vocalist known for hits with Freemasons, Ruff Driverz and Roger Sanchez

Ross Alexander & The Blitz Kidz – 80s anthems with a modern twist

There will also be local performers, DJs, youth activities, a bouncy castle, trampolines, and stalls from LGBTQ+ groups, local businesses and food vendors.

The event starts at 12pm on Saturday and runs until 7pm.

This is a free event, and while tickets are not required, attendees are encouraged to arrive early to secure a good spot.
