Carlisle United have confirmed that Cedwyn Scott has left the club for an undisclosed fee.

The former Notts County player has joined South Shields after joining The Blues in January 2025.

Scott, 26, made 11 appearances during his second stint at Brunton Park, finding the back of the net once.

A spokesperson for the club said: “Everyone at the club wishes Cedwyn all the very best for the future.”

Carlisle United play their first home game of the National League season on Saturday, August 16, when they face Boreham Wood.
