The 27-year-old creative midfielder will officially wear the number 22 shirt at The SO Legal Stadium and will be a part of the squad which travels away to Tamworth on Saturday, July 19.

Speaking about linking up with The Bluebirds, Booty said: “Yeah, I’m delighted, obviously it’s been going on for quite some time.
“So, I’m really happy it’s all sorted now and obviously the season is coming thick and fast in two weeks, so I’m looking forward to getting started, getting to know all the lads and getting my foot in the door.
“I think it’s always really nice when a manager and a group of staff are so keen to get you in the door, and the way they approached things was just very attractive to me, very professional, and after that, I just thought that’s where I want to be to play my football.”
The Huddersfield-born midfielder enjoyed a two-year spell at The Gateshead International Stadium, where he played a big part in the National League side’s FA Trophy win at Wembley Stadium.
Following on from his Wembley success, Booty enjoyed a stellar campaign last season, contributing to a combined 14 goals and assists in 43 outings.

While with The Shots, Booty played 33 times before being released by then Premier League side Huddersfield in the summer of 2019.
A brief spell at Notts County followed, before he joined National League South outfit Maidstone United in the summer of 2021.
An impressive two-year spell at Maidstone followed, which included a promotion to the National League.
