Cumbria Police has located a body in the search for a missing man.

The body was found on Tuesday night, July 15, shortly after 7:15pm.

The man’s body was found in the Beaumont area, near Carlisle.

Police have said the death is not being treated as suspicious at this time.

The family of 87-year-old Anthony Cornish who was reported missing on Saturday, July 12, have been informed.
