Eden Valley Bowls Leagues: Lazonby and Fitz Park split the leagues with all to play for

The lead of the four Eden Valley Leagues are split between two clubs with Lazonby and Fitz Park on top but all is still to play for.

Eden Valley Mixed Triples

In Division One Lazonby moved into first on Tuesday, June 24, with a 7-3 win at home to Penrith Friars B as Caldbeck lost 9-1 at Fitz Park A.

Wetheral were beaten 4-6 by Linton while Appleby A won the battle at the bottom 6-4 at home to Dalston.

With 14 points separating top to seventh the league is still very much up for grabs with the leaders Lazonby hosting Fitz Park A on Tuesday, July 1, while Caldbeck face Wetheral.

Linton head to bottom side Dalston and Penrith Friars B face Appleby A.

All games are a 2:00pm (14:00) start.

In Division Two Fitz Park B stayed top on Tuesday 24, with a 9-1 win at Penrith Friars A as Temple Sowerby won 8-2 at home to Shap and Penrith Castle Park won 8-2 against Appleby B.

Both of the top two are in action on Tuesday, June 1, as Fitz Park B face Skelton and Temple Sowerby head to Penrith Castle Park and Appleby B play Penrith Friars A.

Eden Valley Mixed Rinks

Fitz Park A moved into top spot with an 8-0 win over Skelton on Thursday, June 26, as Caldbeck dropped to second as they lost 8-0 at Lazonby and Penrith Friars won the Penrith Derby 8-0 when they hosted Penrith Castle Park.

Appleby stayed within touching distance of the top two with an 8-0 win over Fitz Park B while Shap won 6-2 at Temple Sowerby.

Leaders Fitz Park A travel to Penrith Castle Park on Thursday, July 3, with Caldbeck hosting Temple Sowerby as Penrith Friars heading to Shap.

Lazonby make the trip to Fitz Park B and Skelton play Appleby.
