Cumbria Police is appealing for witnesses following a collided between a van and a pedestrian.
The incident occurred in Prescott Road in Carlisle on Tuesday, June 24, at around 9.15am.
The vehicle involved was a white Ford Transit van.
The driver stopped following the collision and has engaged with police.
The pedestrian, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital after suffering serious head injuries, not believed to be life-threatening.
Police are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident, has dashcam or has any other information which may assist.
