Eden Valley Bowls Leagues: Caldbeck, Temple Sowerby and Wetheral hold onto top of the table

Caldbeck, Temple Sowerby and Wetheral have held onto top spot in the Eden Valley Leagues.

Eden Valley Mixed Triples

Wetheral extended their lead at the top on Tuesday, May 20, with a 6-4 at Penrith Friars B as Caldbeck lost 6-4 to Appleby A while Linton were beaten 8-2 by Lazonby and Dalton held Fitz Park A to a 5-5 draw.

On May 27 Wetheral face Fitz Park A as Caldbeck play at Linton, Penrith Friars B head to Dalston and Appleby A host Lazonby.

All games are a 2:00pm (14:00) start.

Leaders Temple Sowerby lost 10-0 to Fitz Park B on Tuesday, May 20, as Penrith Castle Park lost 8-2 to Skelton and Shap were beaten 10-0 by Penrith Friars A.

Fitz Park B could go top on May 27 when they face Appleby B, Penrith Castle Park will be hoping to beat Fitz Park to the top of the table when they head to Penrith Friars A and Skelton take on Shap.

Caldbeck held on to top spot with an 8-0 win over Skelton on Thursday, May 22, as Fitz Park A beat their B team 8-0 while Appleby were 6-2 winners at Temple Sowerby.

In a mid table tussle Lazonby lost 5-3 to Penrith Friars while Shap won 6-2 to Penrith Castle Park.

On May 29 Caldbeck head to Penrith Castle Park while Fitz Park A host Lazonby and Appleby welcome Shap as all three look to make top spot theirs.

Penrith Friars face take on Temple Sowerby and Skelton play Fitz Park B.

In the Ladies Triples Lazonby beat Penrith Friars 5-1 to move into joint second with Fitz Park on Thursday, May 22.

Fitz Park host Lazonby as two of the top three play each other on May 29 as Penrith Friars play Lazonby.
