Kendal Town Council by-election result has Liberal Democrats candidate elected

The Liberal Democrats has won the Kendal Town Council Highgate Ward by-election.

Held on Tuesday, May 21, to avoid clashing with the Mayor Making Ceremony on Thursday 29.91 percent of the ward turned out to vote as 4 ballots were rejected.

Tim Martland won the by-election with 411 votes with the Green Party candidate Claire Wickham closet with 76.
