Cumbria Police has arrested two teenagers on suspicion of racially aggravated assault after reviewing CCTV footage.
The constabulary were made aware of video being shared on social media Sunday, May 18, regarding an incident at Hammond Ponds, Carlisle on Friday, May 16, at 7:10pm.
It is alleged that the man was taking photos of people in the area, officers have reviewed CCTV of the area and this has not occurred.
In the video a man is assaulted, he was checked over by North West Ambulance Service with minor injuries.
A 15 and 16-year-old boy have been arrested on suspicion of racially aggravated assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
They have been released on police bail.
