Cumbria Police are appealing for witnesses after a man in his seventies collapsed and died on the A686.

No vehicles were involved in incident at 4:18pm (16:18) on Wednesday, May 14, where a cyclist came off his bike on A686 at Hartside.

Despite the efforts of community first responder, members of the public, North West Ambulance Service and the Great North Air Ambulance the man aged 75 died at the scene.
