Eden Valley Bowls Leagues: Caldbeck continue strong start as Fitz Park and Temple Sowerby top leagues

Caldbeck have continued their strong start to the season as they top two of the four leagues with Temple Sowerby and Fitz Park top of the other Eden Valley Leagues.

Eden Valley Mixed Triples

Caldbeck have moved into top spot in Division One after a 9-1 win over Fitz Park A on Tuesday, May 6, as Wetheral lost 8-2 at Linton.

While Penrith Friars B were beaten 4-6 at home to Lazonby as Appleby A left Dalston with an 8-2 win.

The top two face off on Tuesday, May 13, as Wetheral host Caldbeck while Linton host Dalston, Fitz Park A welcome Lazonby and Appleby A take on Penrith Friars B.

All games are a 2:00pm (14:00) start.

On May 13 leaders Temple Sowerby host Penrith Castle Park in a meeting of the top two as Fitz Park B head to Skelton and Penrith Friars A take on Appleby B.

Fitz Park A have taken the lead after a 0-8 win at Shap on Thursday, May 8, as Caldbeck won 6-2 against Penrith Friars.

While Appleby were 2-6 victors at Lazonby as Fitz Park B won 7-1 at home to Temple Sowerby and Penrith Castle Park picked up an 8-0 win against Skelton.

The top two meet on May 15 as Fitz Park A host Caldbeck, Appleby face Penrith Castle Park, Penrith Friars play Fitz Park B as Shap travel to Skelton and Temple Sowerby welcome Lazonby.

All games are a 6:30pm (18:30) start.
