Emergency services have recovered the body of a man who “got into difficulty” in the water in the Lake District.
On Friday, March 27, at around 9:27am, police and emergency services received reports a man “got into difficulty in the water” in the Mossdale Bay area of Ullswater.
A multi-agency operation took place on the water and at around 2.25pm the body of a man aged in his early 20s was recovered.
The man’s family have been informed of developments, police confirmed.
Cumbria police has said the incident is “not being treated as suspicious at this time”.
But they are investigating the “circumstances leading up to the man’s death”.
