Hospice at Home West Cumbria is excited to announce they have teamed up with Octopus Legacy to offer a free online Will writing service.
Life can be busy, and despite people’s best intentions, future planning can often take a back seat.
By offering a free online Will-writing service which is convenient and easy to access, Hospice at Home West Cumbria can reach individuals who may have otherwise overlooked this crucial aspect of their financial planning.

Lorraine Dixon, Director of Clinical Services said: “We have seen how popular our Make a Will Month has been over the years and are now delighted to offer people an alternative way to make their Will.
“Offering a free online Will service allows people the choice of writing their Will in the comfort of their own home.
“Legacy gifts generated through people leaving us a gift in their Will provide a significant boost to our charity.
“It allows us to continue to provide specialist palliative end of life care and bereavement support to people who need it the most.
“We encourage everyone to take up this fantastic opportunity.”
Every year one in four people Hospice at Home West Cumbria cares for is thanks to gifts in Wills.
Leaving a gift in your Will to Hospice at Home West Cumbria is possibly the most significant donation people can make, and using this free online Will writing service gives individuals flexibility on how and when they decide to make their Will.
The charity needs to raise £1.4m every year to support adults with a life limiting illness and their families, and as the only hospice in West Cumbria, income from gifts in Wills ensures they can continue to provide vital palliative and end of life care and support for local people.
