Police have name the man who died in a crash near Penrith and two arrests were made.
Emergency services were called at around 12:33am on Sunday, February 23, following a report of a crash involving a white pick-up and a pedestrian.
The crash took place on the B6412 in Temple Sowerby.
The pedestrian, a man in his 30s from the Eden area, was declared dead at the scene from his injuries, Cumbria Police has said.
Police have now named the man who died as 32-year-old Thomas Scaife (known as Tom).
A man and a woman, both in their 50s were arrested in connection with the incident.
They have since been released from custody under investigation, pending further enquiries.
