Cleator Cricket Club have announced their 2025 Cumbria Cricket League professional.

The club took to social media to welcome Sri Lanka player Dilan Jayalath writing: “Welcome to our 2025 Professional Dilan, we can’t wait for him to land and get started with us.”

They also thanked CricX with: “Big thanks to Dan for his assistance.”

CricX is an agency that supports clubs and players with the company taking to their own social media to celebrate the signing.

The company wrote: “Cleator Get Their Man.

The 2025 Cumbria Cricket League season could be the last of the current format as a merger with the Eden Valley Cricket League is being explored.
