One Man In Hospital As Cumbrian Rescue Services Respond To Gas Leak

One man has been taken to hospital following a gas leak in north Cumbria.

Cumbria Police Officers are supporting Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service after they reported a minor gas leak in the area of Little Dockray, Penrith.

The Police were called to the report at 7:29pm on Thursday, January 16, and are assisting the fire service with road closures.

Closures are in place on Devonshire Street, Corn Market and King Street.

One man has been taken to Cumberland Infirmary as a precaution.

Emergency services are also liaising with gas engineers.
