Cumbria Police has confirmed a body has been found while searching for a missing Carlisle man.

Officer searching for a missing man from Carlisle found a body on Tuesday, January 14.

The body was found at around 8.45am in the area of Eden Street, Carlisle.

Formal identification has not taken place.

However, police have said the death is not being treated as suspicious at this time.
