Wigan Warriors have snapped up an Egremont Rangers star for their Pathway to Performance programme.
The Pathway to Performance programme is run by Betfred Women’s Super League Clubs and is designed for female players in their final two academic school years (Year 10/11).
Clubs allowed up to 24 players which breaks down to 12 players per age group.

Taking to social media Egremont Rangers said: “Congratulations to our very own Francheska Richardson who was recently at Robin Park putting pen to paper, signing a deal to join the Wigan Warriors P2P programme for the 2025 season.
“Everyone at ‘The Mont’ is extremely proud of w and what she has achieved so far, to be recognised by such a wonderful club as Wigan, is only a testament to your hard work and dedication Francheska and we are all very excited to see where your journey takes you.”
In September 2024 Francheska along with the other players selected were invited to evening with Women’s Head of Youth Genna Banks and Women’s First team head coach, Denis Betts who address the latest recruits.
