The A595 in West Cumbria has been reopened after closing for a “considerable time” due to an incident.
Shortly after 5pm on Friday, December 27, Cumbria Police confirmed the A595 needed to be closed between Gosforth and Holbrook.

In a social media post they wrote: “We are currently dealing with an incident between Gosforth and Holmrook on the A595.
“The road is CLOSED and will be for a considerable time.
“Please avoid the area and go through Gosforth or Seascale.”
The road is now reopened.
