Cumbria Police are investigating a two-vehicle crash on the A591 at Troutbeck Bridge, near Windermere.

The incident happened just before 9pm on Wednesday, November 13, involving a blue Porsche Macan and a black Hyundai i20.

The driver of the Hyundai, a man, sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital in Preston for treatment where he remains.

The driver of the Porsche did not sustain serious injuries.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or has any other information which may assist should contact officers on 101, referring to incident 212 of November 13.
