St Bees School Headmaster, Mr. Andrew Keep, was nominated for an award at the National Awards for Pastoral Care in Education.
The Headmaster had been nominated for not one but two prestigious academic awards in recognition of his exceptional leadership and commitment to education, with a Golden Apple nomination along side the Pastoral Care in Education.

Mr. Keep was shortlisted in the category of Best Education and Learning Leader, sponsored by Furness College, at the Golden Apple Awards along with Matthew Squires from Inglewood Junior School with Nigel Youngman from Whitehaven Academy taking the award on October 10.
This recognition celebrates leaders who have demonstrated outstanding contributions to education in the region.
In addition, Mr. Keep was also honoured with a nomination in the Pastoral Leader of the Year category as part of the National Awards for Pastoral Care in Education, which were held on Friday, October 11.
This nomination highlights his unwavering dedication to the pastoral care of students and his innovative approaches to student well-being and support at St Bees.
His leadership has been instrumental in driving the school forward, and his contributions have had a profound impact on students, staff and the wider community.
