Keswick Mountain Rescue were called out to help after an Alaskan Malamute needed medical attention.

A couple out walking October 15, on Walla Crag reported that their usually energetic and bouncy Alaskan Malamute had lost the use of her back legs.

Being a large dog the owners were unable to carry her down to their vehicle so called for help.

Keswick Mountain Rescue responded and stretchered the dog down to a team vehicle and took it to a local vet for tests and further treatment.

The Mountain Rescue reported that: “We hear the dog’s recovery is progressing well.”
