Hospice at Home West Cumbria has launched a new website, designed to provide essential resources and support to patients, families, and carers through difficult times.
The newly unveiled website provides a comprehensive platform offering a wealth of information, resources and support services tailored to meet the needs of individuals facing a palliative diagnosis and their loved ones with improved accessibility.

From guidance on how to access services, to emotional support for patients, families and carers, the website aims to help users with the information they need to navigate their journey with greater ease and comfort.

The website will look to be an information hun with accessible and up-to-date information on hospice care, palliative support, and end of life services available in West Cumbria.
It will also hold materials to help with grief and bereavement, including voice recordings that help relaxation and mindfulness.
The a hospice has worked on its accessibility with a dedicated easy reading section and Recite Me plugin to ensure everyone can access the information withseamless accessibility across all devices.
There will also be a section for healthcare professionals to help them with referring patients with downloadable referral forms.
