The school is proud to extend its facility beyond its students, inviting the wider community to take advantage of this unique amenity in the heart of St Bees, offering a fantastic opportunity for local residents to enjoy one of the region’s most cherished facilities.

“We’re thrilled to reopen our doors to the public and share this incredible facility with our neighbors and local residents,” said Mrs Emma Stott, Head of Boarding at St Bees School.

“Our swimming pool offers a safe and enjoyable space for people of all ages to engage in fitness, relaxation, and community activities. We encourage everyone to come and make the most of it.”

The swimming pool will offer dedicated public swimming sessions, including:
● General Swim: Sessions for general use by individuals and families.

All sessions will be supervised by qualified lifeguards, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, with a cash pay-as-you-go option to suit the needs of the community.

A spokesperson for St Bees School said: “St Bees School has a long history of fostering strong connections within the local community, and the reopening of the swimming pool marks another step in that ongoing commitment.

“As the only swimming facility of its kind in the area, the school is confident that this offering will be a valuable addition to the village and surrounding communities.”
