Cumbria Police officers from Patrol and Firearms Support Unit responded to reports of attempted theft at a store in Ulverston.

On Tuesday, September 24, officers were called to a store in Ulverston after an attempted theft with the suspects making off when challenged by staff.

Later on the vehicle was located in Windermere where a man and woman were arrested on suspicion of theft.

The man was further arrested for assaulting shop worker further arrested for failing a roadside test for drug driving.
