The passenger of a car involved in a crash on the A684 at Junction 37 of the M6 has died.

Christine Dale, 77, of Thornton-Cleveleys, died in hospital on Sunday, September 22.

She was a passenger in the Hyundai involved in a collision with a bus on Thursday, September 19.

The driver of the Hyundai, Rita Thomas, 85, of Thornton-Cleveleys, also died in hospital following the crash on Friday, September 20.

The driver of the bus was uninjured.
