Eat Street Cumbria Reveals First Wave Of Food Stalls

The first wave of food vendors for Eat Street Cumbria have been revealed.

Fresh off the back of announcing Bendalls Engineering as sponsor for the event taking place in Whitehaven on Saturday, November 16, the first seven food vendors have been revealed.

A spokesperson for organisers Lakeland Life CIC said: “We’re so excited to reveal the first half of our incredible lineup of food traders who will be joining us for Eat Street Cumbria on November 16th.

“These 7 vendors are ready to serve up flavors that will blow your taste buds away.”

Art’s Thai Cuisine

The reviews for Art’s Thai Cuisine describe it as “delicious” and “could eat their food everyday.” The Cleator Moor based company has developed a reputation as the place to go for authentic Thai food.

DosaChaska

DosaChaska have one mission to bring South Indian flavours to the world and the start they have made from their Whitehaven base has been described as “the best Indian food I’ve eaten outside of India.”

Dirty Dogs

You might have seen Dirty Dogs around Cumbria and more recently in the North East in its distinctive black and orange horse box selling ‘Dirty Dog’ (hot dogs) and nachos.

Fodder

A new name but with reviews already saying “easily the best festival/fair/show/street food I’ve ever tasted.” What ever they bring to Whitehaven, Fodder will be worth a visit.

The Hungry Caterpillar

Healthy takeaway food packed with flavour and customised to your tastes and you can also order as a prepared meal to make at home.

Portobello Wood Fired

Maryport’s Portobello Wood Fired brings a little taste of Italy with wood fired pizzas and other dishes in a bistro in the heart of the seaside town.

Eat Street Cumbria comes to Whitehaven harbour side on November 16, with food, music and entertainment with more to be announced.
