Cumbria’s rugby union sides are in the early season mix at the top of the regional tables.
In Regional 1 North West Anselmians are still top with four unbeaten sides after the second round on Saturday, September 14.
The leaders beat Manchester 27-13 as Penrith recorded a 69-7 win over Leek while Rossendale beat Kendal 59-29 while Wirral were 33-13 winners over Birkenhead Park.
Blackburn picked up their first points with a 33-24 win against Stoke on Trent and Newport (Salop) lost 17-22 to Stockport.
Early leaders Anselmians head to Stoke on Trent on Saturday, September 21, while Penrith make the trip to Manchester as Wirral travel to Stockport and Birkenhead Park welcome Rossendale.
Cumbrian side Kendal host Blackburn and Newport (Salop) head to Leek.

Morpeth are still top of Regional 2 North after a 35-10 win over Upper Eden on September 14, while Northern sit second after a close 36-38 win at West Hartlepool and Carlisle took third with a 33-20 victory over Kirkby Lonsdale.
Keswick took the bragging rights against Aspatria with a 27-3 win as Durham City lost 22-39 to Middlesbrough while Consett beat Guisborough 27-22.
Aspatria welcome leaders Morpeth on Saturday 21, as Northern host Durham City while Carlisle head to Middlesbrough.
There is another Cumbrian derby as Kirkby Lonsdale face Keswick while Upper Eden play Consett and Guisborough take on West Hartlepool.

In an early battle of the top two in the Regional 2 North West Altrincham Kersal lost 72-7 at Burnage on September 14, as Bowden win 50-31 against Vale of Lune while Crewe & Nantwich beat Eccles 36-22.
New side Widnes came back from Douglas (I.O.M) with a 13-15 win while Sandbach beat Northwich 3-28 and Firwood Waterloo were victorious over Winnington Park with a 42-13 win.
Burnage head to Winnington Park on Saturday 21, as Bowden travel to Sandbach while Firwood Waterloo welcome Widnes and Vale of Lune play Crewe & Nantwich.
Altrincham Kersal face Northwich while Eccles host Douglas (I.O.M).

The Cumbria league started early as Keswick 2nd lost 13-45 to Wigton under the lights on Friday, September 13.
Windermere got their campaign underway on Saturday, September 14, and pushed Egremont all the way in a 34-41 defeat while Creighton were beaten 0-104 by new league leaders Penrith 2nd.
Workington lost 15-32 to local rivals Whitehaven while Ambleside were beaten 15-31 by St Benedicts and Hawcoat Park left Millom with a close 20-10 loss.
Cockermouth were due to play their first game back in the Cumbria league at Aspatria 2nd but the game was given to the visitors.
Penrith 2nd face Aspatria 2nd on Saturday, September 21, as Wigton welcome Windermere and Cockermouth host Keswick 2nd.
Workington make the trip to Hawcoat Park as St Benedicts welcome Millom and Whitehaven will have to wait to play their first home game as their make with Creighton has been postponed.
On a busy day Egremont host Ambleside with the Crab Fair festivities in the background.
