Cumbria Police: Proactive Action Leads To £180,000 Amphetamine Seizure And Charges

A proactive Cumbria Police stop led to amphetamine, worth an approximate £180,000, being seized and a man being charged.

The charge follows a proactive stop of a vehicle on the M6 near Carlisle on Wednesday, September 4.

Craig Molyneux, aged 31, of Ashton-in-Makerfield, Wigan, has been charged with possession with intent to supply amphetamine and possession of criminal property.

Molyneux is remanded in police custody ahead of a court appearance at North Cumbria Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, September 5.
