A search for a missing 72 year old man has ended with him being located Cumbria Police have confirmed.
The man was reported missing on Tuesday, September 2, with a multi agency search starting in the early hours of Wednesday.

The multi agencies were tasked to assist Cumbria Police in the search for a missing person in the Workington area.
Each were assigned specific search areas with Cockermouth Mountain Rescue Team, Maryport Coastguard Rescue Team, Mike and Marty from Lake District Mountain Rescue Searchdogs, Workington RNLI, Whitehaven Coastguard, and Coastguard Rescue Helicopter 199.
Workington RNLI launched its all-weather lifeboat Dorothy May White and inshore lifeboat John F Mortimer to search from Workington to Harrington.
The teams were stood down between 3:30 and 4:30 in the morning with the 72 year old being found safe later in the day.
A spokesperson for Whitehaven Coastguard said: “After a thorough search, we were relieved to receive the welcome news that the missing person was found safe and well.
“We wish them all the best and are grateful for the positive outcome.A big thank you to all the agencies involved, allowing us to cover a large search area swiftly and efficiently. It’s always great to work alongside such skilled teams.”
