A man, age 30, has died after being involved in a crash in Barrow and a second driver has been left with life-threatening injuries.
The incident involved two vehicles – a van and a car and occurred at 10:30pm on Tuesday, August 20.
The driver of the car, a man in his 30s, was pronounced deceased at the scene while the driver of the van was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The police are appealing for witnesses, who have not already given their details to police, who were in the area at that time.
A spokesperson for Cumbria Police said: “Officers are particularly keen to speak to anyone who may have a dashcam in their vehicle or from anyone who saw a black Audi or a blue Vauxhall van at the time of the collision.
