The Whitehaven Alive festival has been postponed to May Bank Holiday in 2025.
The music festival was set to go ahead from Thursday, September 12, until Sunday, September 15, this year after organisers confirmed the company was now operating under a Community Interest Company.
In a social media post, organisers have confirmed the festival has been rescheduled and will go ahead between May 23 and May 26, 2025, coinciding with the bank holiday weekend.

A spokesperson for the festival said: “Why the change? We believe the new dates will make our festival even more spectacular, giving you an extended weekend to enjoy all the music, culture, and community vibes we have planned.
“For those who have already snagged early bird tickets, don’t worry! If you can’t make the new dates, we’ve got you covered with a full refund. Just email your order confirmation to tickets@whitehavenalive.com.
“We can’t wait to see you all in May for an unforgettable weekend! Thank you for your support and understanding as we make this exciting transition. Stay tuned for more updates and get ready for the best Whitehaven Alive Festival yet.”
