The potentially difficult entry into the Marvel world Deadpool and Wolverine didn’t falter or back down from its previous outings.
A listless Wade Wilson toils away in civilian life with his days as the morally flexible mercenary, Deadpool, behind him. But when his homeworld faces an existential threat, Wade must reluctantly suit-up again with an even more reluctant Wolverine.
Wolverine is recovering from his injuries when he crosses paths with the loudmouth Deadpool. They team up to defeat a common enemy.
Deadpool & Wolverine holds nothing back delivering on everything fans want with maximum effort.
It does not let you get comfy in your seat, the opening action is intense but you do have some slow points for you to catch your breath.
The team up everyone has been after since since X-Men Origins: Wolverine set us on the path to where we are now and the formula of a grumpy guy to play off the Merc with the Mouth.
I feel like they have swapped out Josh Brolin (Cable) for Hugh Jackman in this one, specially as Cable was a time traveler and this film is about the Time Variance and the multiverse.
It is obvious that Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool) and Hugh Jackman (Wolverine) really had a blast making this and Jackman delivers one of his best performances.

As Cassandra Nova Emma Corrin is super menacing but Rob Delaney (Peter) and Dogpool steal every scene they are in, even if I think they overdo the same Dogpool scene maybe a little too much.
The story is fine, nothing special, but you feel it, and knowing the past knowledge about these characters and their respective universes makes everything hit the emotions.
The action and the visuals are beyond amazing. There are some really, really creative scenes, where adamantium swords and claws create such a mayhem, that makes everything so bloody.
The violence and the comedy are balanced perfectly to give the heart in the film to show through. with super funny jokes and a story that will have you laughing and crying.
The music choices are great and fun, and at times crack you up so much.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe has been struggling of late with recent films and series feeling very lackluster, Deadpool & Wolverine I feel puts the franchise right back on track.

This left me with a sense of excitement and anticipation I haven’t felt from the franchise in a very long time.
Ryan Reynolds proves once again why he is God’s Perfect Idiot.
My Rating: 9/10
