Cumbria Police Catch Unregistered Motocross Rider After Numerous Reports

Kendal Community Beat Officers got their man following numerous reports of a male riding a unregistered motocross bike.

The offending bike was being ridden around Kendal was seized today, July 3, and will now be destroyed.

The rider will also be dealt with for numerous driving offences.

A spokesperson for the constabulary said: “Needless to say, this type of behaviour is a threat to public safety. The bike is clearly not road legal and not insured to be on the road.

“Thank you to everyone who reported this, there are others out there so anyone who has any information or witnesses similar incidents please contact Cumbria Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
