Penrith Fire Station responded to a van fire on the A686.

On Monday, June 10, at 11pm (23:00) both appliances from Penrith were mobilised to the A686 to a van and trailer fire.

On arrival the crews discovered the van to be well alight.

Two breathing apparatus wearers with two hose reel jets quickly knocked the fire to stop it spreading to the trailer full of equipment.
