The West Cumbria Triples League moved over while teams focused on the Knockout Cup as Maryport and Workington battle it out at the top of the Fours League while Cumbria were back in action.
West Cumbria Mixed Triples League
The league took a break as the Knockout Cup was in town on Tuesday, June 4, with holders Cleator Moor progressing with a 2-7 win at Whitehaven A and beaten finalist Wigton are also through after a 0-9 win at Vulcan Park.
Workington made it past Egremont 5-4 while Seascale went out 2-7 to Croft and Maryport beat Harris Park B 0-9.

West Cumbria Fours League
Workington A continued their run on Friday, June 7, with a 7-0 home win against Seaton while Maryport sit nine points behind after a 5-2 win over Cleator Moor.
After a 7-0 victory over Vulcan Park, Fitz Park moved up to fourth two points behind Whitehaven A and Whitehaven B lost the B team battle 2-5 to Workington B.
Leaders Workington A head to Fitz Park on Friday, June 14, while Maryport travel to Vulcan Park.
Both Seaton and Cleator Moor will want to get back to winning ways when they meet and Whitehaven A make the trip to Workington B.

County News
The Cumbria County teams were back in action with the Women’s Walker Cup, Men’s Alsop and Balcomb team.
The Women’s Walker Cup side made it through to the regional finals day with a 39-30 win over Lincolnshire while Durham beat Lancashire 36-33 to book their meeting with the Cumbrian Women.
If the Women make it to the final they would either face Nottinghamshire or Yorkshire.
The Men’s Alsop team made the trip to Yorkshire but left with a 134-106 defeat and 6 points.
The Men’s Balcomb team didn’t fair much better going down 21-49 to Northumberland.
