A man has been arrested on suspicion of burglary after chickens were stolen in Whitehaven.
Cumbria Police confirmed a burglary took place overnight on Saturday, June 8.
A nan was arrested under suspicion of three counts of burglary after chickens were stolen in Hensingham, Whitehaven.

Following the arrest, a search was conducted where the missing chickens were located.
The stolen chickens were recovered and returned to their home.
The suspect has been placed on bail whilst the remaining evidence is gathered.
This follows a burglary of 11 chickens that were stolen in Whitehaven in March 2024.
