Cumbria Police are aware of a video circulating on social media showing an assault taking place on a bus in Carlisle.

A spokesperson for Cumbria Police said: “We would urge people not to share the video further so as not to impede any legal proceedings or to identify any of the children involved.

“A crime has been recorded for this incident and an investigation is progressing.”

They also urged anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information relating to it can report online here, quoting incident number 284 of 2 June 2024.
