Cumbria Women’s Rugby Union have made it through to the final of the Gill Burns County Championship.

Heading down to Essex for potentially their final game of the season the Cumbrian side pulled out an amazing performance to top the Gill Division Three Pool 1 group.

Heading my into the final minute of the eighty minute match Cumbria were trailing their hosts however a last gasp score took the Cumbrians through to the final at Twickenham.

Their opponents in the final are Devon who were in second in their group going into the final game against Sussex.

After trailing 0-14 Devon came back to win 41-19 and book their place at the home of English rugby union.

Cumbria will face Devon on Sunday, June 16.
