Workington, Whitehaven and Wigton continue to battle it out at the top of the Triples League while Maryport lead the charge in the Fours League.
West Cumbria Mixed Triples League
League leaders Workington have held onto top spot with a 2-7 win at Harris Park B on Tuesday, May 21, as Whitehaven A won a close game 4-5 at Cleator Moor while Wigton were 9-0 at home to Egremont.
Seaton won 5-4 at home to Harris Park A while Croft came away with a 2-7 win at Maryport and Whitehaven B won 7-2 against Vulcan Park.
The top two face each other on Tuesday, May 28, as Workington welcome Whitehaven A while third placed Wigton head to Harris Park A and Croft welcome Cleator Moor.
Fifth placed Seaton travel to Whitehaven B as Maryport head down the coast to Seascale and Vulcan Park face Harris Park B.

West Cumbria Fours League
The top two met on Friday, May 24, and Workington A increased their lead to nine with a 2-5 win against Whitehaven A while Maryport moved into second with a 6-1 win over Seaton.
Cleator Moor picked up their first overall win of the season with a 0-7 victory over Workington B and Vulcan Park sit fifth after a 5-2 win against Whitehaven B.
Maryport will be looking to close the gap to Workington A when they face Workington B on Friday, May 31, as the leaders have no game this week.
In third Whitehaven A will be want to take advantage of any points dropped by Maryport as they welcome Fitz Park while Whitehaven B head to Cleator Moor and Seaton host Vulcan Park.

County News
Cumbria’s county teams were in action as the under 25’s travelled to Bolton on Sunday, May 26, to face Lancashire for a place in the North finals day.
The eight youngsters were beaten 52-27 by the hosts to go out of the competition.
The Women’s county teams got their season underway in the Stella Logan and Northern Trophy League with defeats to Yorkshire in both competitions.
